It was not easy to find an artificial tree with all the qualities I wanted, but this was it. Frasier fir, check; 7.5' tall, check; lots of tips (2935!), check; wide base (64"), check; unlit, check; lifelike, definite check!I really wanted an unlit tree, because (a) I don't trust the prelit ones to stay lit, and (b) I wanted the flexibility of choosing my light type, whether clear or colored or LED. I did end up buying LEDs, about 750 of the "warm" type, and it was just about right. A big investment on both the tree and the lights, but worth it.I miss the long-lasting fragrance of a real Frasier fir, but the allergies couldn't take it anymore! None of us miss the need to water it, though, or the need to buy it and take it down by a certain day during a busy time of year.
