I bought this tree to replace a 3' wall tree because I have collected more ornaments than it would hold attractively. I was pleasantly surprised at how full this tree is. Our walls are painted a dark pumpkin color and even when this tree is lit you cannot notice the color of the wall between the branches. The fullness also limits you to hanging ornaments near the tips of the branches only. I'm a little disappointed at how narrow the tree is, only about 24", which makes it more of a steeple shape. The tree that I have doesn't get any wider from mid-height to the bottom, so not quite like this picture. This would be ideal for hanging on a coat closet door in an apartment or in place of an end table!
