This product works well. I noticed a negative review regarding use with taller tree stands; the waterer just needs to be elevated to match the stand. The waterer will fill the tree-stand to approximately 3" above the bottom of the waterer. My particular tree stand is 6" tall, so the waterer is required to be elevated by 3" or 3 DVD boxes. If your tree stand reservoir lip is less than 3" from the floor, I would get another tree-stand so I could use this outstanding product. I like being able to see the reservoir level while standing. My tree usually consumes about 1/4 of a 2 liter a day.
